Oasis of the Seas Dining

27 Oasis of the Seas Dining Options

Oasis5Roger and I are the first to admit we’re foodies.  We love amazing meals, on land and sea, and we enjoy trying new foods.  Here in Little Rock, our favorite restaurant meals include Brave New Restaurant and Sonny Williams Steakhouse, with a sad nod to Vermillion Water Grille, which recently closed.   On sea so far, our best meal ever has been the Chef’s Table aboard the Caribbean Princess, with the Enchanted Dinner aboard the Norwegian Spirit running a close second.  And, we’ll probably have new favorites as we continue to experience other cruise lines and ships.

Cruising while Dieting?

Weight Watchers @ Sea

In addition to the many other roles I play in my life, I am also a Weight Watcher leader.  I lost 53 pounds in 2000 to become a lifetimeIMG_0531 Weight Watcher member, and my plan is to maintain my healthy weight for the rest of my life.  Weight Watcher members often ask me for tips to stay on course with their weight loss during their vacation.  My tips always include drink at least 6 – 8 oz. glasses of water every day, smile as you tell your servers “the food is fine, I’m just full, really!”, push back an elbow’s length from the table when you’re satisfied, have a couple bites of dessert, and always take the stairs instead of the elevators.  So, I was really excited to see Weight Watchers publish their own tips for staying healthy on a cruise on their website.  I’ve attached the article here for you to read.  The authors are Bruce Weinstein and Mark Scarbrough, and you can find this article entitled, “Don’t Let an Ocean Liner Sink Your Healthy Lifestyle”, at www.Weightwatchers.com more »

Your Cruise Answer Place

I’m so thankful for all my repeat guests, but some folks still don’t understand that travel agents provide not only a wonderful service, but also the lowest prices. more »
