Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas

More from the Oasis of the Seas

Two days just weren’t enough to see everything on this massive new ship, but there is something for everyone on the Oasis of the Seas:

For the adults who want to some time away from the kids, you will enjoy the adults-only Solarium, where you can enjoy some peaceful time relaxing in a deck chair, a private cabana, the pool or a hot tub.  And, the Solarium Bistro is located nearby with some wonderful buffet selections.  The Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness offers unique spa treatments and workout classes that you want to take advantage of as well.

For those of you who want a more active day at sea, the Oasis of the Seas abounds with activities for the adventurous.  Gotta say, who’d’ve thought Royal Caribbean would dream up a zipline at sea?  Well, of course, they would, since they’ve already added the FlowRider, the first opportunity to surf at sea, and there’s two Flowriders on the Oasis of the Seas!  The zipline is a short stretch across the open area of the Boardwalk below, and folks were lined up for that experience on our short cruise.  And, you can still enjoy the thrill of a rock climb on not one, but two Rock Climbing Walls aboard the Oasis.

The kids will love the another Royal Caribbean first, a Carousel at sea!  The Pets at Sea is another place we saw all the kids visiting … kind of like a Build-a-Bear, and every kid on the ship seemed to be carrying a Pets at Sea bag.  The H20 Zone is a cool water play area for kids, and they were having a blast.  And, everyone will enjoying a challenging game of  Putt-Putt at Sea.

And, there’s more, but I already know the Oasis of the Seas will be my number one recommendation for all those folks who call me for help arranging their family reunions in 2010 and 2011.  Have you planned your family reunion yet?
