Military Cruise Fares

Marine Mom Travel Agent

Eric 001Something you may not know about me is that I’m the mother of a Marine.  Eric is the first person in our family to  serve in the military since my grandfather, and we’re so proud of him.  His military service made us aware of the sacrifices made by the men and women who serve in the armed force, but we also became aware firsthand of the sacrifices their families as well.  We’re always so happy to see organizations, groups, businesses, and churches honor these brave men and women, and I especially enjoy finding great military travel discounts.

Several of the cruise lines offer special discounts to active and/or retired military personnel, but Carnival takes it one step further with their Military Friends and Family promotion.  Twice per year, usually around Veternan’s Day and Memorial Day, Carnival allows military personnel to book up to three stateroom on the same cruise with their low military discount.  Carnival announced yesterday that this special is offered now from 11/11 – 30/2009.  In order to confirm your eligibility for this discount, current military personnel needs to fax their LES (leave and earning statement) with their social security number blackened out, while retired and former military personnel will need to fax either their DD214 or DD256.

If you are currently seriving or previously served in the military, thank you for your service and sacrifices.  And, if you’re a military family, thank you for sacrifices.  Give me a call, Judy Best, if you’d like to take advantage of Carnival’s Military Friends and Family promotion or any other military discount.  This Marine Mom would love to help you plan your vacation!
